At the foot of the majestic Rocky Mountains, the United States Air Force Academy is Colorado's most frequently visited man-made attraction. The Visitors Center features informative exhibits on cadet life and Academy history, a 250-seat theater and free, self-guided driving tour maps. From the Visitors Center, a one-third mile, hilly nature trail leads to the cadet Chapel. All proceeds from the snack bar and gift shop, located at the Visitors Center, directly support the Cadet Athletic programs.
